This tour is a fantastic introduction to cross-country skiing. First, our experienced skiing instructors will teach you some basic techniques, from how to get your skis on and off, to how to ski across a flat area.
Once you’ve picked up these basic skills, we’ll take you skiing along flat terrain, most of which is on pre-scouted trails suitable for your level. Take in the beautiful scenery as you slide gently along the top of Tromsøya Island, a short drive from the city centre.
As you become more accustomed to skiing and get more confident on the snow, your instructors will introduce more techniques along the route. By the end of the tour, you might even be able to navigate up and over small hills.
During the trip, we will have a stop where the guide will offer some warm juice and a piece of local pastry.
