Dog Sledding in Arctic Nature.
Experienced guides.
Meet our Huskies.
Storytime in Sami Lavvo.
Guests will travel by guided bus to the husky farm, where they will be received by the staff, and given safety instructions for the ride. Each sled will be driven by a trained guide, with guests riding as passengers in groups of 2 or 3. The ride itself will last 20-30 minutes. When they arrive back at the husky farm, guests will be invited into a Sami herdsman’s tent (called a “lavvo”) where they will enjoy hot drinks and cookies around a roaring wood fire. The hosts will provide stories about raising and racing sled dogs and are happy to answer questions from the guests. And of course, there will be time to greet, spend time with and photograph the cheerful, eager sled dogs! There will be approximately 100 meters of walking over uneven and occasionally icy snow.
