Chief Operating Officer (COO) and Deputy CEO
Gerry Larsson-Fedde
Gerry is responsible for all maritime operations on Hurtigruten’s ships. He is also in charge of areas such as HSE (health, safety, and environment), emergency preparedness and the Sea Zero project.
He grew up in Bergen in a maritime family, with a father who worked on several Hurtigruten ships.
Gerry is a trained navigator from the Norwegian Naval Academy and has a background as a deck officer, commanding officer, and captain in the Royal Norwegian Navy, Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines, and Celebrity Cruises.
Gerry has also held leadership and managing director positions at the Norwegian Hydrographic Service, Troms Offshore Supply, Costa Cruises, and Carnival Maritime.
