This is a self-guided land and sea journey. You’ll travel independently on the Norway in a Nutshell route from Oslo to Bergen, including travel on the scenic Flåm Railway and a fjord cruise on the UNESCO-listed Nærøyfjord. You'll then embark on your 12-day Hurtigruten cruise from Bergen to Kirkenes and back.

The itinerary, accommodation and transfers are all arranged for you - so you can explore Norway your own way, with everything taken care of behind the scenes.

No. This is a self-guided tour, designed for travellers who prefer to explore independently. Everything is pre-arranged - from trains and transfers to your Hurtigruten voyage. You just follow the plan at your own pace.

The cruise portion of the tour is full board, with daily breakfast, lunch and dinner served in the ship's main restaurant. You'll also enjoy daily breakfast during your hotel stays on land.

Drinks are not included unless otherwise stated.

You’ll stay in centrally located, comfortable 3- to 4-star hotels in Oslo, Flåm, Voss, and Bergen. While on board ship, you’ll stay in your chosen cabin category for the full round voyage.

Flights and airport transfers are not included. Transfers between your hotel, train station and ship in Bergen are included as part of the tour.

This tour includes the full Norway in a Nutshell experience, including travel on the scenic Flåm Railway and a fjord cruise on the UNESCO-listed Nærøyfjord.

Optional shore excursions during your Hurtigruten cruise can be booked at an additional cost.

Unfortunately, this tour is not recommended for guests who use a wheelchair or have limited mobility. Guests who can manage short walks and climb a few stairs should be able to participate in most activities comfortably. However, if a wheelchair is required, we do not recommend this tour.
