Hunting the Light

Northern Scandinavia is the place in the world to watch Aurora as we have more days with Aurora here than anywhere in the world!

Hunting the Light

We start in Bodø at 15:00 and this day is full of events. Just after embarking we will perform an Arctic Circle Baptism and you will get a chance to learn more about this spectacular light enclosed in mythical fables.

Later in the evening you will have a chance to experience a Viking Feast in traditional surroundings in Lofoten if you choose to join our optional excursion. When arriving in Tromsø the following day you can visit the world northernmost brewery or, if you are more adventurous, why not try the dog sledding?

We continue our journey northbound as the Captain tells us about the life along the coast while we keep Hunting for the Light. On day 3 you can choose to visit North Cape or what about a snowmobile trip along the coast? Perhaps even a fisherman will let us see how he catches King Crab. On this day you will also receive your Diploma from the Baptism a few days ago.

On the fourth and final day we arrive in Kirkenes. Here you can go for a King Crab trip which includes a taste of the local delicacies and if you like why not go and see the Snow Hotel which is build solely in ice and snow.

An experience like this is surely one that will give you memories for the rest of your life!
